Is P90 and P29 the same?
P90 is a prostock CCM equivalent to Bauer P92. Pretty much identical. Same lie. P29 retail is a CCM pattern similar to Bauer P92, but has been described more like a mashup of the P88 and P92.
Is P88 the same as P28?
These names are designated by Bauer, and are also commonly referred to as Kane(P88), Sakic(P92), and Giroux(P28).
Who uses P28 hockey curve?
Over the past few years you’ve no doubt taken notice of NHL players using what appears to be a massive hook! Most noticeably stars like Ovechkin, Doughty or Getzlaf are using what has become known as the Open Toe (P28 in most brands) pattern.
What is a P30 curve?
The P30 is a midpoint between all of them, with a bit of a toe curve, but a little more toe closed (but not as closed as the P88). Still not good for beginners, as the toe curve makes learning a traditional wrist shot pretty difficult.
