What was the point of KH Re:coded?
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded In mid-2007, game director Tetsuya Nomura decided to create a Kingdom Hearts spin-off for mobile phones that would have a different gameplay style than previous titles and allow players to explore the game like a playground.
Do I have to play Kingdom Hearts Re:coded?
Here it is, the most skippable game in all of Kingdom Hearts. Though there are minor references to it here and there, reading a detailed synopsis is really all you need to do to understand Re: Coded, as it isn’t particularly important to the overarching story of Kingdom Hearts.
Is Kingdom Hearts Re:coded the first game?
Re:coded is the first title to pick up after the end of Kingdom Hearts II and puts you in control of franchise hero Sora – well, a digital replica of him at least. The game originally released episodically on mobile phones in Japan, but Square tweaked and beefed up the title for its DS release.
Is Re:coded worth it?
It’s a very slight story, but the combat system is a ton of fun. Play it. I’ve heard from some of the people on these boards that it was terrible but when I played it for myself I loved it. The story isn’t the best but the gameplay is tied with KH2 for me.

Re:Coded is totally skippable. If you need to know absolutely everything about the Kingdom Hearts series then you’d be better just reading the Wikipedia pages on both games.

Is kingdom hearts 365 2 days worth playing?
It was fun trying out the different characters, but I didn’t enjoy it enough to keep playing through missions as them. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days isn’t a perfect game, but it was enjoyable. I had fun with it, and I’m glad I decided to play through it myself.
