Being one of our favorite venues at sea, we were excited when Norwegian Cruise Line decided to add a Margaritaville on Norwegian Getaway last fall. For those living under a rock, Margaritaville is a themed restaurant inspired by the life and lyrics of Jimmy Buffett.

After just a handful of cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line has converted its Jimmy Buffett-themed restaurant on Norwegian Escape to a la carte pricing. Margaritaville at Sea started out as complimentary dining.
Is food included on Margaritaville at Sea?
Margaritaville at Sea Paradise has a number of restaurants, about half of which are included in your fare. There is also a Margaritaville Coffee Shop located towards the center of the ship. As you might imagine, this coffee shop is quite popular in the morning, but also serves up specialty coffee throughout the day.
Can you opt out of gratuities on NCL?
Although technically gratuity fees/service charges are discretionary, in practice passengers must pay these fees; the only exceptions being reductions if you receive horrible service. Asking to have the fees waived just to save yourself money is unfair since gratuities pay hardworking staff members.

There are three pools aboard Norwegian Getaway, along with five waterslides and nine jacuzzies. The main pool is situated on Deck 15 and is flanked by four jacuzzies, while another pool sits nearby in the water park.
