How do you seal headlights after restoration?
Similar to after polishing your vehicle’s paint, you should apply a thin coat of carnauba wax. It’s the same principle with plastic or acrylic headlight lenses. The clear coat will act as a barrier to repel surface damage and UV rays. It will also provide lasting clarity and many years or protection against oxidation.
What temperature should you bake headlights?
You will need to pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and place some soaked paper towels on the headlight lens. It is also recommended to have a wet cardboard underneath the headlight. This will prevent damage to the back of the headlight housing while it is in the oven.

Removing crazing is not possible. The inconsistency is actually within the polycarbonate of the headlight and has nothing to do with the oxidation of the protective coating on the lens that came from the manufacturer.
How long do you bake your headlights for?
Set an oven timer for seven minutes and don’t walk off to far and forget about it. Too much time in the oven can cause the plastic to melt, lens to haze over and many other issues could arise. When your timer goes off make sure to have proper hand ware, the headlight will be quite warm to the touch.

Is it better to use knuckles or rollers to adjust headlights?
