Is UIUC having in person tours?
Admitted Info Sessions & Campus Tours Held most weekdays and select Saturdays, these events are around two-and-a-half hours in length. They begin with a 45-minute presentation on your next steps as an admitted student and how you’ll unleash your power at UIUC, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session with current students.
Can you tour Notre Dame campus?
The Eck Visitors Center’s free public tour offers a historical and social overview of life at Notre Dame. Most tours will include visits to the Grotto, Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Main Building (the Golden Dome), and the Hesburgh Library (“Touchdown Jesus”). Tours of Notre Dame Stadium are scheduled separately.

So can you just walk around a college campus? You are free to walk around public colleges and universities. Public colleges will even have events that are open to the public. However, private universities have the right to ask you to leave.
