How do you protect fuel wheels?
NEVER CLEAN WHEELS WHEN THEY ARE HOT! Clean wheels regularly with mild soap and water only. The finish of your wheels may be permanently damaged by caustic soap used on some commercial car washes. Any abrasives, steel wool or chemicals applied to your wheels may damage the finish.
Is chrome better than stainless steel?
Stainless steel is more durable than chrome. It’s corrosion-resistant, scratch-resistant, and tarnish resistant. Depending on the environment, however, it is not completely immune to all stains or wear and tear.
Are fuel forged wheels hard to polish?
You need to remember that forged wheels use a very soft aluminum and do not take much sanding (if needed) to correct any scratches or pitting. Additionally metal polishing is definitely a skill and something that you should not expect perfect results if it is your first time.
