How tall do you have to be to go to Treetops?
There is no minimum height requirement, but we do recommend climbers to be at least 1 metre tall.

TreeTop Walk closed for maintenance NParks states that the closure is due to maintenance works, which will likely finish around 31 May 2021. So if you happen to go on a hike there and see signs blocking entry, please don’t try to bypass them.

Can you zipline with a cast?
If you are pregnant, have heart trouble, back, knee, or other joint problems, recent surgeries, casts, or any other medical conditions that may prevent you from following instructions, standing for 2 hours at a time, or participating in an adventure sport activity, we recommend not partaking of our canopy tour.
Can you do treetops in the rain?
The activities are safe in the rain and we close the park in extreme weather, especially in case of high wind, hail and lightning. As you know our courses are progressive in difficulty and our red course can be challenging for some.

To reach the Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk, we drove through rolling cattle pastures up the Macquarie Pass, which left us breathless… sometimes from the sheer beauty of the rainforest we found ourselves surrounded by, and sometimes from the seemingly treacherous twists and turns of this narrow mountain road.
