Is AT moving away from U-verse?
So far AT has been firm that current subscribers will be able to continue to use U-verse TV. AT reportedly hopes to move all U-verse TV customers over to DIRECTV or the new AT TV, but for now, AT says current U-verse subscribers will not be impacted by the rollout of AT TV.
Can I switch from U-verse to AT TV?
You can upgrade/replace your existing Gateway without switching TV. You do not want to be in the same state with your Internet and trying to watch AT TV over it.
