Does EPI-NO work?
There is no research data to support these claims. A recent study looked at outcomes after birth, in women who had an uncomplicated pregnancy. It found no evidence that Epi-No prevented pelvic floor trauma. At the same time, there appear to be no negative effects from using the Epi-No.
Can you feel tearing during birth?
Due to the amount of pressure caused by your baby’s head on your perineum, it is unlikely that you will feel any tearing. But everyone’s birth is different and some women may find that they feel a lot of stinging, especially as the head is crowning (when your baby’s head can be seen coming out of the birth canal).

How do I wipe my postpartum poop?
