How do you remove the batteries from a Leap Pad?
I did manage to have luck modifying it by using a dremmel tool to cut the tabs off each end, then needle nose plyers to pull each battery out. There is a device in the center between the batteries wired into the unit that connects to the leap pad. You have to leave that in.
