MediaCity is easy to reach by bike or on foot using a network of direct, safe and attractive cycling and walking routes. Located along the Irwell River Park, many routes utilise the Manchester Ship Canal, the River Irwell and the Bridgewater Canal to provide safe traffic-free journeys to MediaCity.
Is MediaCity worth a visit?
The skyline of MediaCity is impressive and I had a good photo opportunities on my latest visit. It is a well worth a visit and is well connected by Metrolink trams services to the surrounding area as well as Manchester City Centre.

Trams run every 12 minutes between the Cornbrook and MediaCityUK Manchester stops from 7.15am to 8pm, Monday to Friday and from 9.30am to 6pm on Saturdays. The Eccles line service also stops at Broadway and Harbour City during these times.

With its impressive architecture and engaging displays, it is well worth a visit. The Old Trafford section of the Quays is home to the Premier League football club, Manchester United. Their stadium, Old Trafford, is one of the largest football club stadiums in the UK and draws crowds from all over the globe.
